Connecting all the dots...

I get it.  Or, wait. I don't.  Holy hells bells.  Website, The Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, Google, #myface this #myfacethat.  That last part was a joke.  Welcome to the world of making it all connect via your fingertips.  I was introduced in to this algorithm a few months ago by a business associate, now friend.  What an eye opener! It has made me realize and really think about how to attract guests to my studio.  I do prefer word of mouth, but we are all scrolling through with our thumbs and at times tuning out our worlds for a few minutes.

Connecting the dots lately has been consuming me.  I have decided to do a 50/50 split and start back old school.  Let's meet for coffee.  Let's connect.  Friend, respected business owner, an admired person in your community.  You never know who will spark your interest and or give you a little a-ha moment on business, life, summer ideas etc.  Even if this person is from a completely different walk of life or profession than yours.  This is exactly how I met my now friend Angie who is an amazing photographer.  She pumped me full  of info and also gave me some confidence that I was lacking.  I know I've blogged about her before, but I am over the moon and feel fortunate to have been able to connect with her.

Client/guest connection is powerful too.  Not just through the posts on my phone.  I want to connect with my guest who took their time to come to my place.  I take a lot of pride with investing and listening to my clients concerns, or maybe they want to tune out for an hour and relax.  I am all for it.

Let's connect.
