Shop, eat, and wine a little....

Today I ran to the Nordy sale, which of course is usually a marathon of shoes, clothes, and Chantelle under things ;-).  Locked and loaded!  

This was a yearly tradition for my Mom and I.  A day of shopping, eating at the Nordstrom's café with a glass of wine, and enjoying our time together.

Plus, she would usually buy me a pair of Zella work out pants or top.  ;-)  I am 43 and Mom would still want to buy me something nice for no reason.  Who was I to say no?  

I miss my Mom and her absence still sits heavy on my chest.  Today though I treated myself to a nice lunch at the café with a glass of wine. She would want me to, and I know she was sitting right there with me.
